Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

AI WorkMate ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose information when you use our website, applications and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the terms below.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password hash, profile fields (company, job title, country).
  • Usage data: tool requests, request counts, timestamps and error logs.
  • Payment data: processed by Paystack — we store transaction references and status, not card details.
  • Content you submit: prompts, documents and conversations you send to AI tools.
  • Device & cookies: session cookies, basic device/browser metadata required to operate the Service.

2. User accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

3. AI interactions

Prompts you submit and outputs generated are processed by trusted AI providers solely to deliver the Service. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Providers may temporarily retain requests for abuse monitoring as required by their own policies; we minimize retention wherever possible.

4. How we use data

  • To provide, maintain and improve the Service.
  • To meter usage against your plan and prevent abuse.
  • To process payments and prevent fraud.
  • To communicate important Service updates and respond to support requests.

5. Data storage & security

Data is stored on encrypted, reputable cloud infrastructure with access controls, audit logging and row-level security. Transport is encrypted (TLS). Backups are encrypted at rest. We follow the principle of least privilege internally.

6. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies for authentication and basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies through your browser at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Email privacy@aiworkmate.app to exercise these rights.

8. GDPR-conscious design

We minimize data collection, store data in least-privileged stores, support data export and deletion, and require Data Processing Agreements with our subprocessors.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
